Finding the right combination of comfortable and stylish while adventuring through Indonesia was a skill I had to learn.

So my special day came and went quicker than I could ever think possible. Everyone says that before you know it, it’s over, and they are so right. While I dreamt of my wedding day for years and definitely obsessed with it coming to the days before it, my husband was dreaming about the honeymoon. And he was right to, we were planning the ultimate trip to Bali!

4 days in Ubud visiting elephants, monkey temples, white water rafting and lounging by our private pool, then up to the North of Bali to Pemuteran, to scuba and snorkel while relaxing on the black sand beaches in the afternoon. To full enjoy the trip I was determine to pack accordingly and feel as fabulous as our surroundings. So here are a few of my favorite looks from the trip. And by the way, EVERYONE should go to Bali if given the chance.

This whole outfit is from Lolo… a boutique, the boutique I work at, in Downtown Fullerton. The top is by Sanctuary, and I loved the looseness of it, the back has a criss cross open back, and yet isn’t exposed in the least and still appropriate for the relatively conservative Bali. The shorts are from Bila also known as Forbidden Los Angeles, they are what I like to call my adventure shorts, fun patterned, but comfortable and not too short, so good for long hikes, playing with monkeys and riding elephants.

This outfit is combination of items found in Bali and Thailand and pieces from home. My top was found in the Ubud market place for all of $7.50 (negotiating is fun!), and I just love the embroidery and butterfly shape. My hat is from Nordstrom, my handbag from a Thailand market and gifted to me, and my pants are from REI from the brand horney toad and are the perfect travel pants, they have plenty of pockets, light fabric, and are ankle length so perfect with just about any shoes!
